Mission:
- To Sensitize, motivate, facilitate teacher educators on designing, developing, implementing curricular programme on teacher education at all levels of teacher education programmes.
- To develop quality assurance programmes towards ensuring teacher quality, teaching – learning process, continuous comprehensive evaluation.
- To build and develop capacity profile of faculty on their teaching – learning, research, consultancy and extension programmes.
- To create enhance, maintain and optimize the utility of physical resources, infrastructure and on integration of ICT and pedagogy in teacher education programmes.
- To identify, create and develop opportunities on enhancing student’s participation for their academic progression and to facilitate support on developing student profile for the world of work.
- To design and develop strategies for the governance of academic administrative human resources.
- To conceptualize, implement, orient and institutionalize innovative practice among pre service and in service teachers.
